It seems as though job seekers can have their pick of open positions! The reality is that barriers to employment still exist for many people, such as those with disabilities or criminal backgrounds. Removing these barriers to employment meaningfully changes lives, helps communities, and provides many advantages for employers as new talent pools are opened. This session explores these advantages & the impacts of inclusive hiring.

About the Speaker - Mallory Herrin
Mallory is an experienced human resources consultant with over 20 years of practice. She is an industry recognized thought leader, the author of Intentional HR: A Revolution in Strategic Thinking and the CEO and Principal HR Consultant of Herrin HR.
Mallory is a dynamic speaker and has presented for the past 4 years at HRSouthwest and many other regional HR conferences and events. She has been a guest on the podcast Good Morning, HR by Mike Coffey, and is a repeat guest on many other well known podcasts.
In addition to holding certifications from both HRCI and SHRM, she has been named one of the Top 5 Most Influential Women Leaders in HR and is a 2025 finalist for the DallasHR HR Stars Award.
