About the speaker:
Kristen Cannon is the Sr Director Talent Acquisition for Fossil Group, a global design, marketing, distribution and innovation company based in Richardson, Texas. Kristen leads scalable recruiting strategies that positively impact employee engagement and promotes a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Kristen has built a career solving business problems by designing, developing and executing effective talent acquisition strategies to help a company grow. Her strong background in CPG, Retail and Hospitality includes expertise in workforce planning, talent management, recruitment strategy and employer branding. She has been recognized by business and HR leaders for driving positive hiring results and delivering Recruiting Excellence.
Prior to Fossil Group, Kristen worked as Director Talent Acquisition with the Michaels Companies where she was responsible for leading recruiting for the enterprise and served in HR & Talent Acquisition leadership roles at Brinker International and JCPenney.
Kristen enjoys spending time with her husband and has a personal passion for cooking, playing golf and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys.
Kristen holds a bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of North Texas.
