An evening of professional networking & sharing best practices on employee recognition programs!
MCHRA is shaking it up for the month of June. Our June program will be an evening event focused on networking and sharing best practices on employee recognition programs. Please join us for drinks and hors d'oeuvres at 6:00 p.m. followed by an educational and interactive program on Best Practices in Employee Recognition led by LaToya Whatley, Senior Director of Human Resources & Training at Which Wich Superior Sandwiches. LaToya’s session will examine recognition programs and how they improve morale and employee engagement while driving results. LaToya’s presentation will cover the creation, implementation, and maintenance of recognition programs, and she will facilitate discussion that allows participants to share some of their best practices with the group!
About the presenter:
LaToya Whatley
LaToya Whatley is the director of the human resources and training departments for Which Wich Superior Sandwiches. With over 15 years of human resource and training experience, LaToya specializes in talent management, staffing, employee benefits, training and development, and leadership coaching. Throughout her career she has been known to build and retain a high performing and motivated workforce. LaToya is passionate about helping businesses make the most of their resources and talent while helping individuals understand their strengths and how to use them. LaToya studied at the University of Texas at Arlington where she obtained her certificate in human resource management.
Which Wich Superior Sandwiches is an American fast casual restaurant chain specializing in sandwiches. They currently have 440 locations open in 36 U.S. states as well as the District of Columbia, along with 27 international locations in Bahrain, Guatemala, Kuwait, Mexico, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab, and the UK.
This program is pending 1.00 recertification credit towards PHR, SPHR, and GPHR through HRCI and 1.00 Professional Development Credit towards SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP recertification through SHRM.
Mid-Cities HR Association is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.
The use of this seal is not an endorsement by HR Certification Institute of the quality or the program. It means that this program has met HR Certification Institute's criteria to be pre-approved for recertification credit.
All online reservations are due by NOON on the Monday before the meeting. Online registration will be closed at that time.
Attendees not registered online will be considered Walk-In registrations and will be charged the guest rate of $35.
