Recruiting is more important than ever to your organization. At the same time, recruiting today is much more complex. We have more tools, more places to look, and our recruiting teams are often swamped with requisitions. Today anybody can be found, but activating A players is tough. In this session attendee’s will walk away with: An overview of how to build an effective recruiting program, and a self-evaluation tool to diagnose and improve the one you already have in place. A discussion around how to move hiring managers from adversaries An overview of best practices today in talent acquisition, engagement and retention. A framework to evaluate recruiting vendor options and best practices around how they are used to solve recruiting challenges.
Jimmy Taylor Speaker’s Bio
Jimmy Taylor is co-founder of Novotus, a Texas based Recruitment Process Outsourcing provider. He also serves on the Board of Trustee's for DallasHR, and as a District Director for Texas SHRM. Jimmy uses his experience in both recruiting operations and finance to equip HR professionals to positively impact their companies. His talent acquisition programs are designed to help companies acquire and retain the people their organizations need to outperform their competitors. He also co-founded the Recruitment Process Outsourcing Association, a non-profit organization formed to help educate the marketplace on the benefits of recruitment process outsourcing. He brings more than 25 years of experience in talent acquisition, in positions ranging from recruiting leadership and training to company ownership. His presentations are fun, casual and interactive, and focus on delivering information that can have immediate impact.
The presentation is pending approval for 1.00 recertification credit towards SHRM-CP, and SHRM-SCP through SHRM and 1.00 recertification credit towards PHR, SPHR, and GPHR recertification through HRCI.
